Darren Lim is an artist of many talents who made his debut at the mere age of 15. During his time as a Xinyao(Singaporean Mandarin Ballad) singer, he released 3 albums of his own and sang the theme songs for TV series such as “Crescendo”.Lim is also a critically acclaimed actor who starred in many well-received tv series such as“The In-Laws”, “The Little Nyonya”, and “Baby Bonus”.In 2007, Lim took home the Best Supporting Actor Award at the Star Awards for his excellent performance in the TV series “Kinship” as the supporting antagonist Xu Naifa.
Darren has an eclectic mix of hobbies, which includes photography, Wushu, and archery. His broad and extensive knowledge of his hobbies allows him to host all kinds of programmes with ease. In recognition of his outstanding skills displayed as a host for the programme “National Flavours”, he was awarded the Best Infotainment Programme Host Award at the Asia Rainbow TV Awards.
